Krist Raj Bhavan Home for the Senior Citizens is in the Cotula area and is run by the Franciscan Missionaries of Christ the King. The state list records it as a home for men, which makes it one of the few options in Goa specifically for elderly men. It lists nursing care, trained caregivers, emergency response and home-cooked meals, with Wi-Fi, a garden and wheelchair access.
Victor Da Gama Retirement Home is a smaller retirement home in Saligao linked to the Institute of Public Assistance, the Government of Goa body popularly known as the Provedoria. The state list shows both free and pay-and-stay places. The listing includes medical care, daily health checks, help with hygiene, nutrition planning and a garden, and rooms are among the more spacious of the three.

Why Saligao works for older residents
