- Hospitals. Rajarajeswari Medical College Hospital on Mysuru Road and Gleneagles BGS Hospital at Kengeri are the nearest large hospitals. The home's emergency vehicle and doctors on call cover urgent needs, but ask how long the drive takes.
- Access. Mysuru Road and the NICE Road connect the area to the city, and the Purple Line metro runs out to Challaghatta near Kengeri, the closest point on the network.
- Weekend visits. The Big Banyan Tree makes a pleasant outing for visiting grandchildren, and Ramanagara and Bidadi are not far along Mysuru Road.
