Konark Nagar is a planned residential area on the north-eastern side of Nashik, laid out in phases just off the Mumbai to Agra highway near Jatra Hotel and Adgaon. It is newer and more spacious than the old city around Panchavati, with apartment blocks, bungalows, schools and banks within walking distance, and the Nashik to Aurangabad road about two kilometres away. Chaitraban Senior Citizen Housing
Chaitraban Senior Citizen Housing is a senior housing project by S And S Developers, part of the Sachin P Bagad group, and it bills itself as Nashik's first senior citizen housing project. It stands in Konark Nagar Phase 2 on the Mumbai to Agra highway and is registered with MahaRERA under number P51600034181.
Chaitraban sells 1 and 2 BHK apartments designed for retirees and senior couples, along with a few ground-floor shops. The design details are where it differs from an ordinary apartment block:
- Safety in the home: anti-skid ceramic tiles, handrails in the washrooms, intercoms and open balconies for light and air.
- Step-free access: the project is designed so a wheelchair can move through the rooms.
- Care on call: the listing records a doctor on call, nursing care, emergency response, housekeeping and help with personal hygiene when needed.
- Community: landscaped gardens, recreation and wellness spaces, Wi-Fi, security and power backup.
Because this is independent living that you buy into, it suits seniors who are active today and want their own home with support close at hand. If your parent already needs help every day, compare it with a care-focused home before deciding. The listing gives 2026 as the build year, so ask the developer for the current construction status and possession date, and check them against the MahaRERA record before paying.
Living in Konark Nagar
- A large hospital nearby. Dr. Vasantrao Pawar Medical College, Hospital and Research Centre, the 1,000-bed MVP Hospital at Adgaon, is close to Konark Nagar and takes patients from across north Maharashtra. Its casualty department runs round the clock.
- Highway connections. The Mumbai to Agra highway links Konark Nagar to the rest of Nashik, to Mumbai and to Ozar airport, and the Aurangabad road is just as close. For visiting children, the drive from Mumbai avoids the city centre.
- Temples and the river. Panchavati, the Godavari ghats and Kalaram Mandir are a short drive away, which matters to residents who like a daily darshan.
- Daily needs. Banks, schools, grocery stores and pharmacies sit within walking distance of the main road.

Buying into a senior housing community in Nashik usually costs about ₹18 lakh to ₹40 lakh, depending on the size of the flat, plus a monthly maintenance charge, and meals or care services where the community offers them. These are approximate figures for the city; prices change between launch and possession, so confirm the current price, the maintenance fee and what it covers directly with the developer.
