Senior living homes in Noida: what families should know
Noida was planned in the 1970s as an industrial township, and its sector grid now houses lakhs of families who moved here for work in Delhi and NCR. Many of the parents who came with them, or followed later, are now in their seventies and eighties, living in apartment towers where help is hard to find and children are busy or abroad. That is why senior living in Noida has grown so quickly. The city now has paid old age homes, dementia centres, care homes run by geriatricians and hospital groups, and a large rental community for active seniors, spread across sectors that are easy to reach from east Delhi, Ghaziabad and Greater Noida.
Elkin lists 10 verified senior living homes in Noida and Greater Noida. Every home on this page has been checked for care staff, safety and honest pricing, and our team can arrange a guided visit to any of them. Elkin is also a primary member of the Association of Senior Living India (ASLI), the body that sets standards for senior living communities across the country.
Types of senior living homes in Noida
Noida's homes are mostly care-led and paid monthly, which makes it easier to compare them than in cities where you must buy into a project.
Assisted living in Noida is the biggest group. These homes help with bathing, dressing, medicines and mobility, with nurses or trained attendants on duty day and night, physiotherapy and a doctor on call. Several are run by doctors, including a home founded by two geriatricians, and some specialise in recovery after a stroke or surgery.

Old age homes and senior living homes in Noida: the difference
"Old age home in Noida" is searched more than any other phrase, and "paid old age homes in Noida" is close behind. The difference matters. Traditional old age homes are run by trusts, NGOs or with government support. Families often ask about the long-running home in Sector 55, for example. They offer shared rooms and simple meals at low or no cost, but rarely have nursing care for a parent who is frail or bedridden.
Paid senior living homes in Noida are private. Residents get a private or twin-sharing room, planned meals, housekeeping and activities, and, where needed, trained caregivers, nursing care, physiotherapy and dementia support. Some still call themselves old age homes, like Aangan in Sector 105, while working as fully managed care homes. Elkin lists both kinds, so you can compare a low-cost home with a care-led one side by side.

Senior living and old age home costs in Noida
Noida is usually 20 to 30 per cent cheaper than Gurugram for a similar level of care. The ranges below are approximate and give you a starting point. Fees depend on the room, sharing and care plan, so always confirm the current fee, and what it includes, with the home.
- Free and low-cost old age homes in Noida: free to about ₹12,000 a month at trust-run and charitable homes, with shared rooms and simple meals.
- Paid old age homes and independent living: about ₹20,000 to ₹45,000 a month in central sectors such as Sector 45, with larger rental communities costing more.
- Assisted living in Noida: about ₹35,000 to ₹1 lakh a month. Smaller homes in Sectors 105, 112, 116 and 117 sit in the lower and middle part of the range, branded care homes at the top.
- Dementia, bedridden and transition care: about ₹50,000 to ₹1.5 lakh a month, because these residents need trained staff and nursing round the clock.
- Greater Noida: often a little lower than Noida for the same care.
Medicines, consumables, a personal attendant and specialist visits are usually extra, and most homes take a refundable deposit. Our guide on how much an old age home costs in India shows how Noida compares with other cities.
What you usually get in a senior living home in Noida
Expect three meals a day, tea and snacks, housekeeping, laundry, 24-hour security, power backup and Wi-Fi. Kitchens usually cook north Indian vegetarian food, with diabetic, low-salt and soft diets available; a few homes serve eggs or non-vegetarian food, so ask. On the care side, most homes offer daily vitals, medicine management, physiotherapy, emergency response and an ambulance link to a nearby hospital, and assisted living homes add caregivers on every shift.
The climate is the other thing to plan for. Noida summers cross 45°C and winters bring cold nights and heavy smog. Check that rooms are air-conditioned and heated, that the power backup covers the air-conditioning, and that the home has indoor activities for the weeks when air quality keeps residents inside. Staff speak Hindi and usually English, which helps parents who have moved from other states.
How to choose the right senior living home in Noida
There is no single best old age home in Noida for every family. These checks help you find the right one.
- Start with the care need. Dementia, stroke recovery, frailty and simple loneliness each point to a different kind of home.
- Check the hospital link. Ask whether the ambulance goes to Fortis in Sector 62, Jaypee in Sector 128, Kailash in Sector 27 or elsewhere, and how long it takes in evening traffic.
- Ask who runs it. Noida has homes led by doctors and geriatricians and homes run by trusts. Both can be good, but ask who is on site at night.
- See the room you will get. Many quotes are for twin sharing; a private room costs more.
- Visit in winter. A December visit shows how the home handles smog, cold and power cuts.
- Read the exit and refund terms. Our guide on questions to ask an assisted living facility lists what to check.
