Nursing care and housekeeping are available, and residents share a pool and gardens. It is also pet friendly, so a parent can bring a dog along.
Advait Retirement Homes, from the same developer, offers villas with a common dining hall and customised meals, housekeeping, emergency response and wheelchair-friendly design, again with a pool and gardens and a pet-friendly policy. Since both listings come from Advait Homes, ask whether they are separate phases or one campus, and what the difference in services is.
SMILES Senior Citizen Homes, run by the non-profit Smiles trust in the same township, with a Venkateshwara Swamy temple within walking distance, is the care-focused option here. It provides assisted living with trained caregivers, physiotherapy, daily health monitoring, medical care and its own paramedical ambulance, in a wheelchair-accessible building with a garden. Choose it when a parent needs daily help rather than just a quiet home.
Amaya Senior Living by Vera Vita Living is a hospitality-led community at Munirabad, near the Outer Ring Road. It plans an on-site clinic, digital health monitoring, a 24/7 concierge and hospital partnerships with MediCiti and Yashoda. The project was launched in 2026 and is still being developed, so check the possession date before you commit.
Medchal for retirement: hospitals, roads and pace of life
- Medical care. MediCiti Institute of Medical Sciences at Ghanpur, near Medchal, is the closest large hospital. For specialist care, the Secunderabad hospitals are about 45 minutes to an hour away by road.
- Connectivity. NH 44 and the Outer Ring Road junction near Kandlakoya link Medchal with Secunderabad, Kompally and the airport, and Medchal has its own railway station.
- Fresh air and room to walk. Lower density and more open land make a real difference to seniors who want to walk every morning.
- What to plan for. Shops and pharmacies are fewer than in the city, so check what the community provides on site.
