What makes Bavdhan practical for seniors
- Hospitals on the highway. Chellaram Hospital, a diabetes and multispeciality hospital, is on the highway in Bavdhan, and Sahyadri Hospital in Kothrud and Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital in Erandwane are a short drive towards the city.
- Chandani Chowk junction. The rebuilt Chandani Chowk interchange connects Bavdhan to the highway, Paud Road and Kothrud, so relatives from Wakad, Baner or the city can reach it fairly quickly.
- Hills and fresh air. Morning walks along the hill roads and society gardens are part of daily life, though some lanes are steep, which matters if your parent uses a walker.
- Shops and services. Supermarkets, pharmacies and labs line the main Bavdhan road, and Kothrud's markets are close.
